Do you serve breakfast?
Yes, we serve breakfast between 07h00 and 08h30 as an optional extra when booking a room. Our breakfast options vary from day to day, but our English Breakfast will always be standard on the menu. Our alternative options may consist one of the following on a specific day:
- Chorizo with fried onion & baby tomatoes
- Dutchbaby with cheese, mushrooms and bacon
- Breakfast burger with fried onions, pickled cucumber & egg
- Egg pots in the oven with cream and crispy bacon and toast
- Beef Koftas with yogurt dip
- Bobotie mince with carrot chutney
- Mushroom omelette with truffle oil
- Viskoekies
- Toast with egg in a hole & bacon
- Croissant with scrambled eggs & bacon
- Potato cakes with chilly, egg & bacon
- Scones
- French toast with banana, bacon & syrup

Do you serve dinner?
We serve a platter per person that consists of anything in our pantry like cold meat, cheese-souffle, bread, garden salad or fruit, our home made preserves, olives and our very own Liedjiesbos olive oil produced on the farm. Bookings essential.
Do you cater for special dietary requests?
We offer vegetarian and Halal breakfasts. If you are lactose intolerant, please notify us at breakfast time not to serve you any dairy products. For gluten intolerance, please avoid eating wheat items on the menu.
Can visitors, not booked as guests, visit the premises for Breakfast and/or Dinner?
Liedjiesbos allow breakfasts and dinners to be booked and served to guests only.
Do you have a bridal package?
As we respect the privacy of our other overnight guests, we unfortunately do not have the facilities to accommodate brides, bridesmaids and grooms while we have other guests on the premises.
For exclusive use of the facilities and gardens at Liedjiesbos, brides to be will have to book all eight double rooms for at least two nights. An extra “exclusive use” fee of R15 000 per day will apply to the booking. This will only cover the use of the facilities for the bridal party to get dressed and for the accommodation before and after the wedding at another venue.
Do you do functions?
Liedjiesbos is first of all a working farm and a BnB. We currently do not have the facilities to do any functions.
Is there a Spa?
Unfortunately, there is no spa or wellness centre at Liedjiesbos Urban Olive Farm.
Is there a swimming pool?
There is a swimming pool at Liedjiesbos Urban Olive Farm.
Do you have Braai facilities?
No. We do not provide self-catering units at Liedjiesbos Urban Olive Farm.
Is there free Wi-Fi on the premises?
Yes, Free Wi-Fi is available in and around all rooms and soared public spaces.

Do you have space for a trailer?
Yes. Our parking area has sufficient space to allow trailers.
Do you have backup power during load shedding?
We have a Generator to assist during load shedding periods or during other unforseen power interruptions. However, please note that power generated will only serve lights outside the rooms and for wifi at the reception area. The Generator will not be running after 21h30 to ensure minimum disturbance. For the future, we are currently in the process of upgrading to solar power to improve and minimize our daily footprint.

Do you have family rooms?
We only accommodate a maximum of 2 people per room. Only our Olive Cottage consist of a sleeper couch / daybed to accommodate a 3rd guest.
Do you have self-catering rooms?
No we don’t have self-catering rooms. Please refer to our rooms and amenities to see what we offer.
Do you provide wood for the rooms with a fireplace?
Yes. Each room with a Fireplace gets replenished with wood once a day free of charge.
Do you allow photoshoots on your premises?
No. We would like to ensure at all times that our guests are not inconvenienced at any time during their stay due to possible disruptions and or obstructions photoshoots or any other similar activities from outside visitors may cause.
Is the Farm Shop open to the public?
For visitors who are interested to visit our establishment and purchase items from our shop, can do so by appointment only. We are making some delicious jams, preserves, pickles, chutney and rusks inhouse at Liedjiesbos. Make sure you grab a bottle of our very own olive oil. We also created our own unique Hand and Body range available in the Farm shop and from our www.liedjiesbos.co.za online shop.
