Our architectural structures, designed by Smit Architects, seamlessly blend into the Free State landscape, creating a harmonious connection with nature.

Emphasizing indigenous plants and organic practices, we extend these principles to our accommodation, slow food breakfast ingredients, and bath products. To minimize energy consumption, we’ve designed our buildings to require minimal heating and cooling. Additionally, we prioritize reusing and recycling original building materials while incorporating energy-saving devices and solar geysers to reduce our carbon footprint further.

The interior of the main building reflects the owners’ love for art, antiques, and travel. It seamlessly blends old and new elements from diverse African, Egyptian, Chinese, Vietnamese, and other cultures. The result is an exciting environment with a chic and comfortable feel, showcasing their passion for aesthetics worldwide.

Indulge in luxurious amenities in our eight rooms, featuring cotton percale bedding, sheep’s wool duvet, TV/DSTV, full en-suite bathroom, electronic safe, electric blanket, coffee & tea facilities with a Nespresso machine. Furthermore, we maintain a non-smoking policy for all rooms.
